The project team proposes to study and create three theater grounds in the cities of eastern Ukraine: Bakhmut, Severodonetsk and Popasna.
The project is scheduled for the period from July 2017 to September 2017 (4 months).
The project can be attended by representatives of local communities, library staff, cultural institutions, public organizations in partnership with local authorities, artists of cities: Popasna, Severodonetsk and Bakhmut.
The theoretical part of the training will be held in Poltava (July 8-11, 2017).
Here the participants will get acquainted with the experience of public organizations working in the direction of social theater in the cities: Poltava "The Theater of Contemporary Dialogue" (PF of the Public Service of Ukraine); Kyiv "Theater of the Displaced People", "PostPlayTeatr"; Lviv «Art Workshop DRABYNA» and Zaporizhzhya «Zaporizhzhya new drama». Project participants learn how to create a social-critical theater (theatrical management, writing project applications, civil competence, instruments of documentary and theater).
The practical part will be held in the cities of Bakhmut, Severodonetsk, Popasna (July-September 2017)
The participants will work out the skill of writing project applications and, together with the curators of playwrights and directors, will create documentary performances on topical topics of their communities, and later - they will show them in their cities.
To participate in the project from the cities Popasna, Severodonetsk and Bakhmut, 4 participants will be selected for training in the city of Poltava (12 persons in total).
