Teatr-Pralnia (Laundry Theatre)

Teatr-Pralnia (Laundry Theatre) – a group of 5 young actors, who studied together in Karpenko-Karyi National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television and created together their own theatre. Teatr-Pralnia (Laundry Theater) is a young new theatre with it's unique form and way of expression. This is a synthesis of drama and puppet theatre. In art they combine the real-actors play with subjects-actors that become alive. They use live music and singing. Teatr-Pralnia (Laundry Theatre) is theatre, which joins some opposite things, such as something important and something simple, specific and general, little and great, such as heart and mind, such as theater and laundry. By actors search and asked questions they want to wash the souls, to clean the hearts, to fresh the mind. So they want to make their consciousness work.

TseSho (from ukr. TseSho — What’s That). TseSho is the unique cabaret project combining drama theatre, puppet theatre, live music, poetry. It is the cooperation of Ukrainian director Vlad Troitskyi and a group of five young Ukrainian actors. TseSho searches the new ways of expression by combining different arts. Actors play the situations, make sketches with puppets, play instruments, sing, use the poetry. Music has no framed genre and contains folklore songs, children's rhymes, specific sounds, old and contemporary poetry, own texts, world news, posts from Facebook, own memories and dreams. As all participants are not musicians but they are actors, so music is born like the word in the role - through feelings and sense. Actors play cello, contrabass, accordion, melodica and drums. In the performance Tse Sho talk about the dialogue with yourself, about the strange connection with "you internal" and "you external", about memories from childhood, about how children perceive different things such as loneliness, loss, relations between adults, war and which influence does it has on the destiny? Also there are reflections about the relations between people in the contemporary time, about the generations and about calling of every human. Why do we live right now? What does our generation mean in the worlds' destiny? What can we change? Is it worth to try to change something in the world, which is not perfect? The performance is about important and deep things but it is still simple and touching. Are we still children inside?
