The stronger

The melodrama "Who is stronger" is considered one of the best female mono melodramas in the world drama. And one of the most difficult to perform. The play was written by the outstanding Swedish playwright Johan August Strindberg. For over a hundred years the performance has not come off the chamber stage of the best theaters of all continents. There are also TV versions of the play. For the topic raised by the author, it would seem, in the far century before last, is still relevant today: the "duel" of two women ... of course, for a man. And it does not matter what these women are wearing: crinolines or jeans. Passion of passions goes off scale. Which of the two women was stronger, who won - it's up to you, that is, the viewer. At the same time, against the backdrop of raging authentic passions, the viewer's eyes are constantly resting on a beautiful picture in pastel tones, which seemed to have come down from the picturesque works of Toulouse-Lautrec.

Animal farm

The "Performance" of the "Farmhouse of Pigs" "(Animal Farm) is based on the story of a prominent American writer and publicist, master of the dystopia of George Orwell. The play is grotesque and comedically broadly sketched strokes depict the evolution of the consciousness of animals living in the cattle court, as well as the gradual degeneration of revolutionary romance and boundless freedom to dictatorship. The wry word from the story is the expression: "All animals are equal. But some are even more "". The performance is based on the first translation of Orwell's story into another language. It was a translation carried out in 1947 by Ukrainian political emigrant Ivan Chernyatynsky. The play is an acute satire not only for the Soviet, but also for the modern reality. At the same time there are elements of farce, grotesque, comedies and drama. The performance is ecological: all decorations and props are made of recycled materials "
